Italian Art Lands in Madrid: David Brogi on Display at Mestiza Galería
Italian contemporary art has arrived in Madrid with the collective exhibition “La Importancia de ser Europeos” (The Importance of Being European), which opened last Saturday, July 5th, at the prestigious Mestiza Galería de Arte. Among the Italian talents selected for this significant exhibition, the name of Italian artist David Brogi stands out.
The exhibition, organized in collaboration with Platinum Collection, celebrates the importance of art and its deep connection to European identity, offering a visual journey rich in color, material, and sensibility. As announced by the gallery, the inauguration was an opportunity to “welcome summer in the best possible way: surrounded by art, conversation, and many Italian gazes,” highlighting the public’s enthusiasm and curiosity.
Mestiza Galería de Arte confirms its role as a cultural bridge between Ibero-American and European contemporary art, fostering dialogue and collaboration between worlds that, though geographically distant, share a rich artistic and cultural heritage. The gallery aims to be a vibrant meeting point where art and culture serve as tools for reflecting on the values, trends, and challenges of contemporary society.
David Brogi’s works, alongside those of the other artists, will be on display until July 18, 2025.
